Xiang Yao

Xiang Yao is a monster in Chinese Folklore.  Known as a monster with nine human heads and the body of a serpent.  The Xiang Yao sticks close to the black Dragon known as         Gong-Gong.  Together they dung in water sources (ponds, lakes. . .basically bodies of water) creating swamps. (Stinky swamps to be exact).

  1. You've gotta take the prize for the most unusual X post. (And it actually BEGINS with the letter X!) Great job. Only two more to go...

  5. The Chinese monsters are always so intimidating. It must have something to do with the age of that culture. THey had a long time to perfect intimidation. Their dragons, on the other hand, are lovely.

    Great X-day post.

    1. Agreed. Dragons are my all time favorite! If there is anything I could talk about for hours on end, it would be Dragons.
