K is for Keeping Christmas by Rebecca Blevins + A GIVEAWAY!

~ About the Book

Countdown to Christmas #5. On her way home for a Christmas full of Norwegian traditions, Paige Sorensen is pulled over by the county sheriff in the small town of Higgins. The town’s annual Christmas dinner is in danger of being canceled, so the judge sentences Paige to community service, putting her experience as a caterer to good use.

The one thing she doesn’t count on is working with Wes—a good-looking deputy who can’t stand the holiday season. He makes sure the less fortunate have a merry Christmas, but the secrets behind his eyes say he may never celebrate it in his heart.

Paige fears being stuck in Higgins will ruin her family holiday, but as she helps others, she begins to discover what Christmas—and love—truly mean.

~ About the Author

Rebecca Blevins is from the Midwest, land of tornadoes and cows--hopefully not mixed together. She began reading before she can remember, so books have always been part of her life. She has fond memories of borrowing more than thirty titles from the library at a time, and her mother stated: "Rebecca sat down to read and didn't stop until she was done with the whole bag."

Rebecca's love of reading has turned into an affinity for writing. Her first book--at age four--was a huge hit, with a cut-up diaper box cover and pages of stick figure drawings. The title? Mommy and Rebecca Go to the Store.

Now that she considers herself a grownup, Rebecca especially loves writing about pirates with rooster pox and princesses with pet anteaters, as well as tales for young adults. Rebecca was lucky enough to find a handsome writer prince, and they have four children. Their family enjoys reading together, playing Dominion, Friday night pizza, and watching funny videos on YouTube.

C is for Captain Schnozzlebeard and the Singing Clam of Minnie Skewel Island by Rebecca Blevins + A GIVEAWAY!

~ About the Book

Captain Gus Schnozzlebeard would rather hear crocodiles sharpenin’ their teeth on sandpaper than listen to his pirate crew sing. To save his sanity, he resolves to acquire musicians for his ship, the Scallywag III. When he hears tell of the Singing Clam of Minnie Skewel Island, he decides that’s exactly what he needs, and they set sail to go find it. Sometimes, though, getting what you want isn’t the best thing.

Join Captain Schnozzlebeard and his crew as they sail past the Tu Ting Pits and visit the Mer Cantilles on their travels. Add in a plucky stowaway, an uptight British admiral, and a kraken attack, and you’ve got a recipe for fun that’s better than a pot of gobbledygook stew.
