A story, an announcement!

September is a pretty special month for me. You see seven years ago I was invited to a writers group that started around September. At fist I was hesitant and kinda forgot about it. And one of the woman who started the group decided to take matters into her own hands. She called my mom, told her I was coming and that was that. I went.

On September 27th that year I started my first book. And it was horrible and I ditched it. One year later I started my second book. Missing Royal. 

In September of 2010 I started this blog. And this blog has been so much fun! I love all of you for following me, reading my blog posts no matter how lame they are and just being there for me! 

February 4th 2013 I submitted Missing Royal to publishers for the first time. (I know this isn't in September, but it relates to the story, by way of showing major events in my writing life.) 

On February 20th my best friend Lizzy challenged me to a writing race. And I couldn't pass it up. 15 days later I had a second written manuscript.  (You can read the whole story HERE) 

March came and went and hardly any writing was done. I  took a reading break instead. 

And then . . . Lizzy challenged me to another race and being me, of course I accepted. And while racing I started a new book. A book that for the first time ever, I shared a teaser for on Facebook.

And two days later I had a title and half a book written.

On April 3rd I made the biggest decision of my life (so far, that is)  . . . I decided to self-publish the book. And am aiming for the book to release this year!

And there you have it! I am self-publishing my first book! 

Oh yeah, and I bet you're wondering how that relates to September . . . well I am shooting for the book release to be on September 27th 2013! Yep, September is an amazing month! :)
