Whist Hounds

Whist hounds are ghostly hounds.  They are believed to be a form of wild hunters led by the devil. But their leader and chief is in fact Sir Francis Drake.  Whist hounds are also known as Head-less hounds and/or wish hounds.

  4. You'll have to explain the Sir Francis Drake bit... he comes from down my way, and I'm sure I've never heard about ghost hounds!
